His words stung a little bit but they weren't anything that Kat didn't already know. It only make the moment a little more bittersweet. She knew just as well as he did what their circumstances were and that they were essentially in a jail. But it didn't always feel like a jail. A jail didn't have celebrations like they had had tonight. It wasn't exactly a rave but it was better than it could have been. "I think it's more upsetting not to try," Kat countered after thinking on Tyler's words for a few minutes. "And I know you just want me to be happy, but if having a child of our own is what's going to make me," she paused herself and started over. "If having have a child of our own is what's going to make us happy, then why not at least try?"
She sighed and leaned her head against Tyler's, forehead to forehead. "Fuck the regiment," she said softly. "This is more important. Fuck them all to hell if they won't allow it."
