"Or... Keep them from getting jaded." He offered an alternative. "Try to help them learn how to survive this place and still be themselves instead of just another super soldier." Tyler had met those raised in the Regiment, or at least those who had joined at a young age. Many of them seemed to be missing something he couldn't put his finger on. Independence maybe? Which would make sense being raised within a government facility.
He leaned his head against the wall, hand still making soothing circles on her back. Tyler wondered more often than he cared to admit about what would happen if Kat did get pregnant. Limbo had to be equipped to help, right? Or some location withing the Regiment? Would they take her away? Would they let her carry to term. He tried to think back to know if he'd heard any stories of Agents getting pregnant. He couldn't think of any. And if she did have a child would it be ripped away immediately? Would they be able to see it? Maybe they could actually find a way out. He couldn't help thinking aloud. "At least trying was always fun."
