Elena wanted to finish her breakfast, but she was starting to not feel hungry anymore. It wasn't due to feeling full so much as it was because she was on a topic that she didn't care to discuss anymore. Had it not be Vasily, she might have politely excused herself and left. The past was behind her and only the path forward was left to take. She stabbed at the pineapple on her plate softly, moving it around and picking the soft flesh apart.
"{Around twenty of us, last I counted.}" She wanted to clarify that they weren't treated horribly. Well, she hadn't, but she was a beautiful bobble meant to be shown off and to entertain guests. She even had a small pool that was meant to help keep her skin moist. She dared not tell Vasily how often she had to retreat to it to keep from harm.
"{But that is behind me. No need to dwell on the past.}" She did turn her eyes back up to Vasily and gave a more genuine smile, "{Had it not happened, I would not be here letting you practice your Russian. An American accent is starting to take over and we just can't allow that.}"
