Attempting to fill the hours in the day, when previously it had never been an issue because there weren't enough hours in the day, was daunting. She'd cleaned her room, she'd almost gone to clean Chloe's but stopped herself, opting to just tidy up the shared common rooms, cleared out the last of the wool from the shop with what was left of her allowance, made a delightfully messed up looking hat for Ariel and then... it was only 3pm on a Saturday.
It was excruciating to think on. How utterly unfulfilling everything was now, how she barely had a routine. And it was something she needed to figure out, because she wouldn't let Chloe know, the kid didn't need anything else to feel guilty about, even if Kelly would do the same thing a hundred times over.
She'd worn herself down by working out, figuring out how to put her reflexes and agility to use with her wallcrawling, now that she wasn't aggressively pushing her powers down and pretending they weren't there. When she was finally exhausted enough for sleep, she fell into bed and hoped she'd figure something out tomorrow that could consume some time.
When Holly's voice carried through the door with the knock, Kelly was just tying her shower wet hair up at the back of her head, probably having used more than her share of the hot water already. "Yeah, gimme a sec," grabbing a blouse, ignoring the still damp strands of hair, Kelly was just finishing the buttons when she opened the door, wide smile tugging over her face. "Hey you, this is a welcome surprise."
