Scotty had been holding himself back with every inch of will power he had since Sandy was put into solitary. It was like biting onto his tongue until it bled. Each moment felt like he was being torn apart but there was nothing he could do. The fear of being placed in solitary too was enough to get him to fall in line.
It didn't mean he fell in line while. Just holding in his thoughts about his own time in solitary and thinking of what was happening to Sandy had sent him into a panic attack. It took a little Domino tunes to get him off the edge. He'd never felt so weak as he did within the walls of the Reginment. He wasn't sure of his place here or with the Outsiders anymore. Especially when the first time he had seen him in months they were blaming him for being caught in the first place.
He was leaning against the wall with his hands stuffed into his jeans. Thoughts of one of Domino's song repeating in his head. He wouldn't admit it but he was using it to try to calm himself. It worked when they were in the showers but it was grasping at straws.
His head raised quickly with the sound of her voice in his head. He didn't have time to lift his arms before hers were wrapped around him. He pulled his arms tightly around her. His grip didn't let up, even after she leaned back as he didn't want to let go just yet.
He wasn't sure what he could say to her. It was all his fault that this happened to her.
