Who: Penny and (OPEN) What: Titan has a growth spurt. When: Early evening. Where: The courtyard Rating: TBD
Penny had tried not to worry about it. It was just her legs and hips. She had overdone it in training before. That's all it was. She had just overdone it. Pulled a muscle, got a bruise somewhere that she couldn't see. Denial was working for her for a little bit until it started to spread to her arms and aspirin had stopped dulling the pain. Ethan and Holly had been right. It was time to go to medical and get it checked out. At the very least they might be able to give her something to help her sleep.
Pushing herself off the floor she had been laying on, Penny forced herself to change her clothes. Despite her usual preference for dressing in regular clothing when she wasn't training, she picked up one of her workout uniforms that was a little bit more comfortable. It was made from a special material that grew as she did. She would later be very relieved that she had chosen it. Pulling her hair up into a ponytail, she made her way out of her room. Taking a deep breath, she focused on putting one foot in front of the other.
"I can do this," she said softly to herself. The pain was intense but she could make it to medical on her own. She was tougher than this. Her eyes burned as she tried to keep the tears forming from rolling down her face.
Then it happened.
Just before she reached the door, Penny could feel her legs begin to lengthen. "Oh no. No." She had control of this power. She worked on it. Emotions kept restrained, hours of practice. Penny wasn't the lose control kind of girl. Doing the best she could, she began to run. She had to get out of the building. They were already fixing the eight floor.
The growing increased as she ran. Ducking under the door frame so she wouldn't hit her head, Penny made her way out into the cool evening air. She had gotten to the courtyard as she hit her usual two stories. She couldn't help the sigh of relief and expected it to finally stop. It didn't. She shot up four more stories before it did.
Towering over most of the buildings, Penny looked around. "Shit." she whispered. She was going to be in trouble.
