Ethan had a point. There wasn’t much to do with the Regiment that was normal. You couldn’t have friends or family or lovers like normal, you couldn’t live a normal life; you were basically run by someone else who had relative control over everything except your down time which was still confined by walls and regulations and a literal tracker embedded in your body.
After a moment, however, Carly shrugged. “I dunno. This feels pretty normal to me.”
