It was no secret, at least not to anyone who had read Xavier's file, but most of time Xavier saw the world in varying shades of black, grey and white. That was until somebody spoke or deliberately lied.
This was the case for Chloe.
It was small initially but a burst of colour seemed to explode from the pit of her stomach before it strengthened in shade and depth the longer she maintained the lie and it wasn't long until her entire upper body was filled with it. It was impossible to miss, for Xavier that was.
"You do realise I can tell that you're lying?" Xavier asked, direct as he ever was.
