"I know." Yes he did. Cas didn't have any air of judgement in his voice, it was soft and understanding. He was never the fighter of their family, while he did believe in a lot of what they fought for, he had always acted more as a provider and security blanket. He was someone they could count on and even though he frequently snuck away after everyone was asleep to hit the clubs, he was almost always back by morning- if he wasn't already on the streets performing. Since coming to Limbo, he hadn't felt needed. Even though it was Scotty, he'd given Cas that feeling of being needed, useful. Sure, he'd been watching over Tammy since they'd arrived, but watching those who'd been his friends much longer lose their need for him had made him feel a bit empty.
