"Don't worry about it," Gage said with a shake of his head. "It's not like you threw a bowling ball at my head. That? Might have hurt." Gage was relatively easy going for the most part so a lot of things just rolled off his back.
Of course the only thing he wasn't easy going about was crime, robbery to be exact, but he couldn't see himself stealing anything anytime soon or at the very least not anything valuable.
He accepted her invitation and grabbed a seat. "I've heard that you're the lady I need to speak to about getting things in that the Shopette can't." And that sounded much seedier aloud than it did in his head. "And to be clear it isn't illegal because I realised about thirty seconds after I said that just how bad it sounded."
