Roe had finally unpacked. It'd just taken her almost a week, but still. She had a fair amount that she'd had to haul from Maine, and then unpack, and then the rest came in and organising that had been a night mare, but she finally had her room the way it had been in Maine. She just hoped they wouldn't do the usual trial and error with her handlers, and that Riley and Mr Deacon would stick.
With the unpacking done, she'd gone off wandering, it'd taken longer than she'd thought, and she wasn't really in the mood to craft anything before she got ready to sleep. And she knew she wasn't ready just yet to try and nod off. So, she'd figured there might be communal books around here. She had a few of her old favourites, some dog-eared copies among her belongings, but that wasn't what she was looking for either.
A fresh book would do her good, at the very least she could find a manual for something that might make her tired enough to sleep. She was wandering through one of the leisure rooms, trying to work out if anything was allowed to leave the leisure room and come back, when she noticed the woman playing cards on the floor.
