She lifted her cane slightly. "Not 100% infallible. And I suppose I'd have to be able to see where someone is in order to hit them." She laughed lightly, tucking a loose strand of white hair behind her ear. "I do get paid extra to work... and it keeps me busy... and I get to cook which I enjoy... so..." She shrugged, "I sort of come out ahead." Granted with the changes Scott was making to her life, she wasn't sure how much longer she'd be able to keep up the schedule she kept. Not that she socialized a lot to begin with so what else was she going to do?
When he introduced himself as Max she smiled almost timidly, if her skin wasn't already a red color she'd probably be blushing. "I didn't mean to sound bitchy. Though, thanks to you and then a second person's high snacking I started labeling birthday desserts." She tilted her head slightly, pushing up her shades a bit. "I'm sorry, I normally try to make better first impressions than that."
