"Grape," Nitin repeated approaching the jar. Honestly, he only ate the red ones and only when he got very bored, so he wasn't all that sure what flavours the other lollipops were. Picking three of the differently shaded green ones and one of the purple ones, he presented Mercy with all four. "One of those is probably grape," he said with a small shrug. "Lick your way through," he advised like it was an investigation that Mercy had accidentally signed herself up for. It didn't really matter to Nitin if she chose to bin the ones that didn't taste like whatever she wanted. He then returned to get a small packet of painkillers she could take with her and opened a window on his computer to log the visit.
The question briefly confused Nitin and he frowned. "Afraid of what?" He asked. Honestly, Nitin did recognise that there could be dangers working with the supers, but frankly, he had also sat through far, far to many do's and don't's sessions. As for why he worked there, Nitin wasn't sure how much of an answer 'because they offered me a job' really was (not to mention that it wasn't completely truthful either). "It's interesting work," he answered finally, because that, even if partially, was definitely true. "Also not particularly difficult. Most people don't come to be if they can go to a super with healing powers," he commented with a shrug. Nitin couldn't even blame them, because he too would choose someone who could instantly heal you rather than handed you an ice pack and some painkillers. "Are you?" Nitin asked looking at Mercy. "Afraid," he clarified.
