It was easy not to notice that she was there to witness things. Mercy preferred it that way. There was a reason she spent as much time as she could as invisible, which was also why she was at the clinic that day. Being invisible had its perks for her, but it also had its pitfalls; such as constantly getting bumped into and stepped on. In this particular case, she had been jostled just so that she had landed badly on her right ankle, and she wanted to get it checked out to ensure whether it was a sprain.
She'd been standing there for several minutes by that point, not wanting to bother him. He seemed to be in a bad mood, and she didn't want to contribute in any way. However, the ache in her foot grew by the moment, the longer she stood there, which finally prompted her to speak up. "Excuse me," she said politely, her voice soft and perhaps hard to hear. Slowly she let go of her invisibility, as it would unfortunately hamper the process of a check up. Gradually the blonde came into view several feet away from him. "I hope this isn't a bad time, is it...?"
