For all Abby knew the pictures could prove no leads, but there was some comfort in the fact that there was a small chance something could have been done. She had gone so long drawing murder and people being beaten or abandoned and lost that had been ignored because she was ‘crazy’, the smallest chance she could make a difference was something that made her not completely resent her powers. She nodded slowly as Rachel said she’d keep the same set up. Rachel’s assessment was correct as well, the loss of Jester at the facility left her heartbroken. She’d not even gotten a goodbye. Her first kiss... her first crush since she’d been a teen. She still felt a little lost.
Asking about her training made her shift uncomfortably again. “Handler Frost was training me to use a knife.” Her nose wrinkled slightly. “Guns are kinda scary in real life, but the knife wasn’t as bad. I’m not really good though.” Even though she’d been there a year Lucas has still gone easier on her. Unsure if it was more because she was so skittish or because he wanted to limit the odds of her having a vision in the middle of training and her or someone else possibly getting hurt. Thankfully none of their knife training sessions accompanied a vision.
