"Speak for yourself, I don't plan of letting this place kill me." Although she wasn't sure how it would affect her, she wouldn't let it kill her. Maybe it would end up being a benefit to her, control over life and death, even maintaining a balance. She could balance her life with that of a person trying to take it. Then again, people got really fussy about bringing the dead back to life.
"Pretty much, the energy of a death, instead of dead energy, I think that's how it works anyway." Like a death rattle, the residual aura or something, she had a general idea on how her powers worked, based on some really gross interactions with dead people and varying degrees of this is not okay. But if it helped her get a grip of things? Yeah, okay it was still gross.
"Yeah? This place seems like a bunch of sticklers for rules." She didn't mind some of them, Ariel seemed like a fucking sweetheart, but that didn't mean they weren't all for following the rules like little pod people. And she could not be assed walking to that stupid big hall to fire up her powers and let some creepo watch her just to walk out again. "Gonna be a fun time with that. You wanting the gym? Or are you just skulking around?"
