After having completed Jay’s not entirely unsuccessful assessment (he was better with a gun than he’d thought and Holly knew where she needed to work with him), Holly finished up the last of her paperwork and went to the Holding Cells, where she knew that Victor Sinclair, one of the other new arrivals to her team that she hadn’t had a chance to introduce herself to because it happened while she was away on assignment, was waiting for her. She didn’t like the holding cells, primarily because they felt a little bit like a prison, but at the same time, she recognised the need for them. After all, there were dangerous individuals here and the punishment was at least humane: time to cool off in the naughty corner for a bit to think about what they’d done. It wasn’t solitary, but she was glad that Scott had enforced the no visitors. She’d read about the codependency between the group that had come from the Cheshire facility and wondered - just like she did about the group the called themselves ‘The Outsiders’ - how psychologically healthy that was. She didn’t think it was very. Hair straightened now - and gods she loved her straighteners, probably the girliest thing about her, to be quite honest - and rested, Holly pulled up a chair and sat outside the cell that was holding Victor - or Vic, she had seen in his file - and tapped lightly on the transparent separator that kept him inside and her out. Powers were nullified here, and because Vic was a psychic, that made her feel even more at ease. Her thoughts were her own. “Morning Victor,” she greeted, “I’m Holly, your new handler. You doing okay?” |
