Keeping her head down would be easy done, she knew that much. Ruby didn't so much go looking for trouble as fall into it, accidentally, without noticing. But if she could keep her wits about her and not get into too much trouble, she figured that would work out for her better. Jade was right, let the bigger personalities attract the attention.
It was the not getting involved that Ruby knew she'd struggle with. The implication was that shit happened, and she was just to ignore the shit happening if it wasn't to her.
Chewing on her lip, Ruby just nodded, she wasn't sure she could verbally promise Jade to do just that, but she could try and keep out of things. Returning the hand squeeze, Ruby's head fell to Jade's shoulder, sighing heavily. "I fucking missed your stupid face." Avoiding that topic was for the best, because then she wouldn't be breaking promises to her sister.
