No news was good news, okay. She was sure that was probably true, if there was no one talking about how terrible they were or rumours going around about what they did, it probably meant they were pretty decent. It helped Ruby breath a little easier.
"Well, they probably have to remind you daily." She managed to get it out with a smirk, right before the smirk fell and Jade got exceptionally serious.
Taking up a small section at the back, away from potentially prying eyes or ears, Ruby figured that Jade was going to go exceptionally serious -they had their moments, Dad more than anyone else, but sometimes that was just his paranoia kicking up. Then again, the paranoid parent was the one who hadn't been snatched up by the anti-Supers. "Yeah, I got it." She didn't like the situation, but she knew better than to kick up fuss, make herself a target. "Let other people be the big shots." She could do that.
