Jason snorted. “Yeah, even in Indiana Jones. Pretty sure he kissed those women to shut them up as much as to show how manly he was. And then suddenly they don’t hate him anymore?” He shook his head. He’d been raised well, but it had been his time in the youth facility and then in Texas that had really opened his eyes to the culture and how he needed to be the change he wanted to see and all that. Scott had been really good for him in that sense. “That’s not how it works, but it’s no wonder people get confused as to how to read signals and shit if they’re shown that it works in film and TV.”
He rubbed the back of his neck. “Don’t think I’ve seen Blade Runner properly. I mean, I started it but I got bored and left. My girlfriend at the time was into it but eh.” He waved a hand. “I don’t mind sci-fi and stuff like that but it’s not my go to.”
Taking a sip of his second soda after cracking it open, he pointed at Abby. “You make a good point. Bubble was pretty awesome, we didn’t see her get hit, like, ever. So why did she die? Not cool. She was my second favourite- no, third favourite character in that film.”
