Oh this wasn't the first time that someone considered the possibility that Jackson was an android, but he'd never hold it against them. After all those eyes of his were far from normal, and the young man was typically quiet and shy; only really speaking up when something of note or interest was said. Heck a part of Warner actually thought it would be cool to just have Evie replace a few more body parts with cybernetic ones. Though the memory of how painful having the eyes put in always quickly swept that notion aside.
Just hearing Will talk like that brought on a small frown; Jester had been around supers for years now...long enough to see many of them grow complacent under the heel of the stricter handlers. While there was little the young man could do in that regard Jackson did his best to try and lend a hand when the chance arose. He was the eyes in the sky; always monitoring the cameras, watching over the messages, and keeping the computer network secure as well. So the guards knew better than to try to pull some abusive power trip shit, because it would be promptly recorded and sent up the food chain...ensuring that they would be out on their asses if they broke the rules. "That's cool. Still I suppose for 'the sake of being efficient' I'll submit a report detailing the benefits of having the agents well rested and well fed...which would highlight the merit to a more reasonable transfer schedule."
The food here was really pretty good, and the military knew how to brew a strong cup of coffee as well. So after waving to the man dishing out the eats, and filling up his tray with some choice treats...and a lot of bacon...Jester flashed Will a soft smile. "Oh nope, I'm human. The name is Jackson Warner, but most people just call me Jester. I run the cyber security here, and handle the tech side of our computers." The question of the handlers actually gave the young man pause, but when McCall spoke of non-handlers not interacting with the supers at the other base Jester just shrugged. "I've been here since I was 13, so most of these folks are just...well just sorta like my extended family. I hook em up with recordings of tv shows, movies, and music too. Plus a lot of em love the cookies that my nana makes too, so it's always cool being able to share them." For the first few weeks when he had arrived the young man had been really nervous around all the supers; but for the most part they took no issue with the then 13 year old kid, and actually befriended the shy boy.
"As far as the handlers go; well they are cool. Juliet and Eric make a good team, she's the serious one of them but it works well since Eric is kinda...well think rich kid, silver spoon, meets a wanna be GQ model? He's nice though, and you should've seen the spread he brought in for the holiday party! Lucas Frost is like the really professional, and down to business sort. Don't really think we've chatted a lot, but the guy knows how to handle field missions so you gotta respect that. The others I don't really know to well, but there have been no reports of abuse or anything like that..if that is what you're worried about."
