- JADE, VASILY, SANDY, ASH -
Sandy stepped out of the portal and ignored the way that her tummy felt swirly. She was convinced that it was just a reaction that was in her head, but at the same time, she decided she didn't really want to go through a portal again.
She didn't fully understand what had happened, just that there had been some kids taken by some people who didn't like that others had voted to give supers rights... and the rest of it was lost on her. Politics went over her head. She just knew that she'd rather not be here: she wanted to be back in Limbo making sure that Cal was okay and not around people who had guns and noisy brains and everyone was just thinking too loudly. She didn't even know what the others here could do.
Sandy pressed her lips together, stretching out with her powers and looking for the kids with her powers, her eyes became glassy and glazed over. She couldn't pinpoint a location- it all looked the same inside so when she dipped into one of the kid's heads she just saw crates and dust and tear-streaked faces of the other scared children - but she could see the kids were all unharmed. And she could see the two guards beside the children.
"They're all okay," she said, coming back to herself and rubbing the side of her face, then brushing her hand over her eyes. She might not have been an empath but thoughts held their own emotion and that kid whose brain she had briefly walked into was terrified. "They're not hurt. And there's two guards with them. They've got some kind of, uh, big gun?"
She looked at Jade apologetically. "I- my power doesn't work to find me a location. They're... over there somewhere," she gestured vaguely, "it all looks the same and there's no distinguishing features."
