Creative people come in all shapes, sizes, and flavors, and they could be so different that it was often interesting just to see what they came up with. Izzy's creativity laid mostly in dance and a little art, though she didn't consider herself to be very good at it. Basically, she was driven mostly by her right brain. Adam, on the other hand, was so clearly a left brain sort of guy, but the depth of his creativity was astounding. It was obvious that he had a passion for science and probably math, and that he was very academic; all good things, really. He was so different from Izzy that all she could do was marvel at the way his mind worked.
"You know, I've never really thought about it, but that kinda sounds right. I mean, the energy has to go somewhere. It'd be interesting to find out exactly where." This last she said more to herself, like an afterthought or a whimsical daydream. She liked hearing his thoughts and the way he looked at things.
At his mention of writing a paper, her eyebrows raised a bit and she cocked her head to the side. "You want to write a paper on me?" She couldn't keep the smile off her face. He was definitely an interesting one, and she could honestly say she'd never had anyone this fascinated by the science behind her abilities. Not unless they were being paid to contain those abilities.
Pressing her lips together, she considered his offer. If he did get hurt, she'd feel awful, but she didn't think he'd have any reason to lie to her. After a moment, she nodded once, mostly to herself, and helps up her hand, thumb and first finger held slightly apart as if showing a measurement, the other fingers loosely curled into her palm. She decided to start small, just a little explosive, like a little pooper that kids play with on the Fourth of July, but with a little more bang. Worst case scenario, it might cause a minor burn as if he'd touched a hot pan, which wouldn't make her feel too guilty.
It took a little more work than usual, but to her surprise, the limiter didn't stop her from accessing her full abilities. Granted, she had to pour out a lot more energy than usual for the same effect, but still, that was an amazing level of boost he'd given her. As the explosive formed, it looked like a frosted glass bead with a bit of a yellow glimmer about it. "It'll go off on contact," she said, holding it out in such a way as to make it clear she planned to drop it into his hand.
