School had been a struggle for Adam. Oh science and math were a breeze, but the rest of of the classes just bored him to tears. History, English, and even Gym were awful. When it came to learning he savored the time working in the shop or lab, and dreaded everything else. So when it came to engineering and robotics, well for Ford is was a no brainer. Building little working devices, figuring out wiring puzzles, those were just down right fun activities.
"Thanks! She's looking good, but when I'm done with her she'll have a sweet shell, and be looking even better." Talking shop always piqued his interest, so when Izzy spoke of uses and his imagination the young man grinned again. "Well there's a finite amount of things she's capable of doing, but I'm sure I will figure out something fun for her to to." If he could get the prototype working, well the sky was the limit. Shrinking it down, building smaller more agile little spider drones...heck making one big one and mounting a comfy chair to the top of it...that would rock.
The question of his power, and her remark about being tempted, drew out a chuckle. With a slight shrug of his shoulders Adam reached out his hand and rested it gently on hers. Green bolt of energy flickered to life, power flooding from him directly into her a second later. A moment later he let out a soft sigh; sweat now clinging to his brow. "There you go. Got the works. It'll only last for about fifteen minutes, but until then...well how does it feel?"
