An earnest laughed escaped Adam's lips at her admission, yet he could completely agree that the name was certainly something one might easily recall. "Fair enough. And that 'someone' was right. The Rapsberry Pi processor is pretty useful too." Talking stuff out did tend to help as well, though there were times when it hindered too. Luckily her suggestion had been a good one, and after solving the problem Ford found himself glancing back to the door...mentally going through the list of spare parts he had sitting around in his room. "Think I got an extra one laying around. If not Argus will likely be able to get one for me."
As she inquired about the drone the young man's smile grew, and he blushed a little more. "Thanks, I call her Charlotte, and I did build her from scratch. I kind of got bored and just spent the last two days passing the time by crafting this little beauty. She still needs a bit of work, obviously, but for a first trial run she did really well." Trial and error was the name of the game, and Ford actually enjoyed seeing his creations progress through every stage of their development. "Not really sure what the practical application of it will be just yet. Maybe a mobile platform for comms, or a decent way to scout out a building without fear of being spotted....then again she just could end up being used to bring me cold cans of root beer too. Only time will really tell."
As she introduced herself he nodded for a second, pausing to set down the burnt out servo and his screwdriver, and after wiping his hand off on his shirt he extended it to Izzy at last. "Adam Ford. And yeah that would be me...the equation guy. So you're the one with the...give me a sec..." He went silent for a moment, trying to sort through all the conversations he had had with folks, until at last that smile returned. "Kinetic displacement and absorption with genetic clone replication?"
