Charlie chuckled. "Morbid, but accurate outlook on life." She said with a smile as she continued toward the cafeteria. "Your dad was a smart man." Hers was deployed a lot, but when he was home he was all about his daughter. Being an only child among a large extended military family meant she got a lot of attention growing up and had a lot of strong role models. It's why she joined the Army right out of High School.
"So, I have to hand it to you, I was impressed by how well you kept the team together the other day. And making Adam move farther around the corner after he was spent was great." She pursed her lips with a small smile as he'd gotten one over on her. "Twenty more seconds and I would have had my shot at him. Then you moved him. I think this was as best as the teams ever done- and there most of them are new."
