The science behind powers fascinated the young man to no end, yet wrapping his head around the fact that he was a super was still taking some effort. From what he had been told Adam had likely been one since puberty; however since his specific abilities only worked on other powered individuals, well he had thought himself to be simply human until only a few months ago. Oh there was a touch of genuine disappointment when he learned what he could do. After all every kid dreamed of being superman at some point, but not many dreamed of being the Energizer Bunny. Despite that initial disappointment though it was interesting to see just how his 'gift's affected others.
Plus playing the support role was perfectly fine with Ford. Combat and hurting others just wasn't something he was good at at all. Nor did he really have a desire to harm other people. Helping though...well he wanted to be of use. To be able to lend a hand when it was needed. Even if it meant getting fatigued in the process. When Indigo pulled up a new program Adam grabbed a seat on the floor. Just looking on in awe as she started to spar with the holographic opponent, and marveling at her impressive skill. He had tried taking a karate class one back when he was a kid, but the experience had been...well boring.
However as he watched her keep up with kicks and attacks that jaw of his dropped a little. "Yeah, you really are. It's like watching some of those action karate movies, but cooler because it's real." Without thinking Adam dug through his pocket, pulling out one of the many energy bars he always kept on hand, and just slowly started to chew away as he watched her every move.
