Four years ago Jackson's whole world got rocked when he lost his eyes in a nasty accident. While trying to repair a damaged emitter in the hologym a power surge blew the device while he was leaning right over it. Oh most of the injuries to his face and hands had been minor, yet the damage to his eyes was...well devastating. Even with the top notch doctors in Limbo trying to fix him, and even a super or three too, those eyes of his were beyond any hope of healing. The loss of his sight had been traumatic, yet his friend had lovingly worked hard to fashion him a new pair; building the cybernetic devices with such skill and care.
After the operation however, and the implants being installed, Jester found himself seeing clearly for the first time in his whole life. Oh it took months of tweaking, of testing and training, to fully use the high tech eyes. But aside from the occasional headache he got from time to time, Warner had grown used to viewing the world through the inorganic eyes. Plus there was something to be said for being able to pull up an episode of Doctor Who right there in one eye, while reading emails or checking through his work progress in the other. When Tyler seemed to mutter to himself Jester spared a glance back at the other man, pausing when he realized just what the tall man was looking at.
Oh his own sight lacked the acuity that that agent possessed; only able to see infrared, and the most basic of wavelengths and frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum. Still a dark blush swept across his face when the question was raised. "It's not....sorry, I can uh...I can go if you like. Didn't mean to interrupt your game or anything."
