For Cas it wasn’t a line, compliments and flirts were second nature, like breathing for him. He didn’t say something that wasn’t true- which is how he always ended on that side of charming.
Cas frowned slightly, hearing her talk about how this had happened before. “I know things used to get intense for Sandy when things happened to us... but we were never as connected as you two... Roc- Cal and I were more like her safe space. She sought us out... not the other way around.” Actually Sandy had frequently nudged him because his mind was loud and there were certain things she didn’t need to know. Of course, that didn’t always happen and she knew more about his love life than she’d ever needed to. But that’s part of what came with Cas, he had no shame, and his impulse control was practically nill. It made him a good performer and allowed him to do things like shoplift without appearing (or feeling) guilty.
