"Sometimes," Cam quickly agreed still trying to wrap her head around what had happened. The pain had fully dissipated and there were no injuries for Cas to heal. The calm lingered but for a moment, helping her reorient more quickly than if she had been without the peaceful presence.
She closed her eyes and reached out through the all too familiar bond. Jag was in the hologym, healing and with someone else.
"He's fine. Someone's with him..." She appeared to relax at that for a moment before she smirked. Shen she spoke, her tone betrayed irritation with a loved one. "Best for him if I don't. I really don't wanna pass out again." And if she had her chance, she'd kick his ass for being stupid in the hologym.
After a moment she leaned up and pressed her lips to his cheek. "Thanks for not leaving me in the middle of the floor."
Normally, they didn't have this sort of problem. The last time something like this happened was in Chicago. That was how Cam had known Jag had been taken in. And before that well... it had been Vegas.
If it wasn't for that bond, she would be dead. She might bitch about it at times like this, but she was ultimately quite grateful for her connection with Jag. Still, it made her wonder if she could create others like that. Sure, she could link minds, but never as strong as what she had with him...
Maybe sometime to explore another time. When they were both sleeping better.
