What: Surprise!

Mira carefully held the pink box in her hand, as her cane lead her way down the hall. She counted off the rooms until she got to the one that should be Otto's. It was another of those days she loved, when she got a chance to be creative in the kitchen, and maybe bring a little joy to one of the Agents in Limbo.
Mira wore a black shirt and dark blue jeans, a normal look for her as it didn't clash with her shimmery dark red skin and stark white hair. Her odd, white on white on white eyes were covered as normal by her shades. Gently she knocked on the young mans door, hoping she wasn't interrupting him.

It was such a strange thing. He could remember all his other birthdays, surrounded by his family, all his family; his grandparents (on both sides), his three uncles and aunt, all twelve of his cousins. It was a messy affair. Not everyone got along with each other, particularly his cousin Patrick and his brother Rhys. Still, they tried, as they wanted birthdays to be something special rather than just a regular family gather (or free for all as they tended to be). He had expected cards or letters, at least, considering he knew he couldn't call them.
The silence was deafening in his room, alone.
He sat up hearing a knock on the door. He wiped the tears from his eyes, making sure to 'scrub' his face with his hands so that no one else would see it. Then he opened the door and was surprised to see Mira standing there.
"Oh uh, hi." He managed a little smile for her, though it didn't reach his eyes like it usually did.

"Hi," Mira said with a small smile. "I hope I'm not interrupting." She said, holding up the box. Tied to the top with some string was a small bag of silverware, some plates and a generic card signed by the entire kitchen staff. Inside was a pie that appeared to have cinnamon rolls on top, and apple inside. It was still warm, and it was clear the cinnamon smell was coming from the box. "I wanted to make sure I brought this by while it was still warm."
