Otto was still trying to process what had gone on in the rescue mission. It was so far and beyond anything he had ever really considered doing. In many ways, it reminded him of younger sister's comics. The heroes go in to try to rescue people and then the super villain reveals himself! It was up to the plucky heroes to save the day!
Except it wasn't like that. People were dead. Families were broken. Homes were destroyed. So much destruction and for what? The person wasn't even a real, black and white villian. They had their reasons, one that Otto didn't agree with but... they still did. They were just trying to be a hero in their own mind.
He tried to focus on more of what he could have done. The forms he wanted to practice with. He had been trying different animals, bigger, scarier ones, ones that had left him drained for hours or trapped in their minds. It was hard work and he wasn't seeing much pay off at the moment. So instead he did what he usually did when he was feeling stressed.
Doggo mode!
He loved running around as his golden retriever. He could just be him, well, sort of. There was just something more carefree in the life of a dog.
It looked like he wasn't the only one who was stressing though. As he ran about, he saw someone else trying trying to just outrun what was going on. So clearly there was only one thing to do!
Activate pupper mode!
Otto raced up beside her and nudged her hand as he kept pace with the woman.
