For the briefest moment a real smile touched the corner of his lips when Bear watched her stumble and use that momentum to land an unexpected strike all her own. Oh he winced a little, already knowing that she likely bruised his other kidney too. Yet at least Jo was getting a grip on fighting while intoxicated. "Nice..." He took a second to slowly stretched, rubbing the spot on his back where the little one had hit. There'd be n bruise, not on the outside, but still her amplified strength did damage none the less.
She had been the one drinking most of the beer, but a cold brew sounded great to the big guy. However a soft sigh escaped him when the massive man realized the beer supply was officially gone. "Damn, think you finished it all off." That frown of his just lingered for a moment, before the big guy shook his head. He had more back in his bunk, but it'd have to wait until this match was wrapped up. Already someone had peeked their head into the hologym; since the two of em were well over their allotted time, but after seeing Bear and Jo there in the middle of a heated fight...the two were left uninterrupted.
Deciding it was time to put her on the defensive; to push Jo into trying to keep think on her feet while drunk, he flashed her a grin before pulling his sledgehammer out of the bag he had brought with him. Oh she still packed a hell of a lot harder hit, but there was something fun...and primal, about just going all out. Of course he'd avoid aiming for her head or chest directly. Yet between his natural reach, and the reach of the hammer, Bear knew he'd up the challenge that she had wanted. Swinging that beast of a weapon with one hand, spinning and swirling around as it arched towards her legs, the mountain of a man laughed all the while.
