Had this been an all out brawl his game plan would've been different. Especially against an opponent that just kept healing, while he didn't. However Bear knew she was here to work on learning how to handle a fight while under the influence, so he didn't mind patiently letting the worse injuries mend up. Oh he could see the difference in her strength; the difference between drunk and sober Jo. Just the healing alone was a lot better, as was her strength too. However the hand-eye coordination and balance was off as well.
From what he could tell it was a tough line to walk. Too little alcohol and her body burned it off before it was really useful, too much and her abilities improved but her fighting skills took a hit. Hell just her loss of balance as she fell with him proved that point. Instead of saying anything though Bear just got up and patiently waited for her to mend again. Giving it some thought, but finding no easy solution to her problem. He made no effort to attack at all, merely crouched beside her until Jo say up and finally gave him the go.
This time the big guy just nodded before that heavy fist of his lashed out, landing square against that very side where her broken rib had been. Pain was good. It had a way of sharpening the senses, and so striking quickly with serious force he pulled out of reach and watched...waiting to see if that pain would help her regain some focus.
