Dove was the type of person to trust someone else to know their own limits. And by those same standards, she accepted that Avery would know what was best for herself, and how things affected her. It wasn't something Dove would push, even if she was a little concerned that Avery wasn't entirely honest about things, she'd trust that the older girl knew what she was doing. For now.
Hugging her own mug, still letting it cool, Dove tried to put her concerns for her placement in the Wraiths unit into some form of coherency to ask Avery about. So far everyone had been pleasant, and she appreciated that about this place -she had a fairly friendly handler, her team mates were nice people (mostly), she still had Raven around for that sense of familiarity, so it wasn't the biggest and most traumatic change in her life.
But it was still a huge shift in her life.
"You've been here a while, right? Um... the missions that they send us... that they send people on, are they... Are they always dangerous? Is it... are we sent to find other super powered people?" She wasn't sure she wanted to be part of that, or if she'd even get a choice in being a part of that. She just didn't really see it being like the movies showed.
