Charlie & Marshall
Charlie hadn’t been into the romantic holiday since being burned, and she hated how cliched that made her. But when Marshall arranged the outing to a place called Cape Disappointment... she couldn’t resist. The trip there had been pretty tame, and once they arrived everyone spread out and started to enjoy all the activities her fellow hander had arranged. Charlie pulled her jacket around her, cursing the cold slightly as she kept an eye on things. It was sort off nice to see some of the agents enjoy themselves, many of them were pushed a lot and any leisure time they did have was pretty mundane. While she wasn’t a bleeding heart, her relationship with a super had given her a new perspective on things. Granted it could have gone the other way so easy. She could have taken what her ex did to her and turn it on all supers, but instead she used it to realize how human they really were. Just like normal humans, supers could be assholes, just like some could be nice and caring and sweet. Honestly, if anything, it made her more judgemental of people in general.
She bobbed a little in place, trying to keep warm. She always hated the snow. “Had to pick the coldest day in February didn’t you?” Charlie asked as Marshall stepped up next to her.
