Mira had come out of the kitchen, wearing a black blouse (because there were very few colors that didn’t cash with her skin) and blue jeans. She was done for the evening, the night crew having shoved her out earlier than normal, insisting they had things taken care of and to take an extra hour to relax. As she slipped her shades on to cover her white on white on white eyes, and opened her cane when she heard her name and someone addressing her. She turned her head in the direction of the voice and nodded. “Sure.” A friend of her brothers? Mira felt her heart quicken a bit. She knew she’d been keeping busy, delaying a meeting that desperately needed to happen. As much as she was eager to see her brother after so many years, part of her was scared as well. “Shall we?” She gestured over to the new coffee shop area of the Caf, which had more comfortable seating. Thankfully she’d had a couple weeks to get used to the new layout and could navagate it reasonably well.
Mira waited for the verbal affirmative, and heard the steps of the other woman start to move and she followed, her cane leading the way to prevent her from running into any moved chairs or benches. Once they reached an empty table she took a seat and folded up her cane. “So, you’re a friend of Princetons?” He’d started to go by another name now right? “Jag?”
