Bear wasn't the brightest bulb in the box. Oh he wasn't slow of intelligence, but in truth ever since losing his memories and waking up here...well there wasn't really a rush to reeducate the large man in most matters. He was taught how to speak, how to read and write a bit too; but mostly the man with no name, and no known past, was trained to become a weapon for the wraiths. Unbreakable skin, inhuman health, the inability to tire under even the worst of circumstances, and that ability of his to master any manner of combat with such ease...Bear was a nearly perfect living weapon to be used by the regiment.
Life was simple for him. He fought, drank, ate, and had fun. Beyond that, beyond the walls of the base, nothing else really mattered. Still most saw him as slow of mind, but even that didn't bother the big guy. What did bother him though was the prospect of an agent being ill prepared for the field. That pretty little bird wasn't part of his team...but she was an agent, and part of his family here. So if she wanted help, then the large man was happy to try and train her. Anything to help keep her safe.
Oh keeping track of time wasn't a skill set of his, so it was nearly ten minutes later than their appointed time when Bear finally arrived. A bottle of beer in hand, and a grin plastered across his face. Dressed in a simple pair of sweat pants, and a faded tee shirt, he strolled into the hologym, pausing to check her out for a moment. She really was pretty. Tiny too. But the man had been honest before...size rarely meant much when it came to a fight. Especially since it was easy enough to turn the strength of an enemy against themselves.
"Hi there, little bird!" That voice of his echoed out across the room, as did his deep rumbling chuckle as he moved closer. At last when he was just a few feet away Bear nodded to Dove, not bother to even put down that bottle in his left hand. "So let's start real easy. You just attack me, okay? I'll stand right here, and you'll just show me what you can do. Don't worry, I won't bother trying to block or anything."
