Juniper blushed, ducking her head. Her wings shuddered, the soft sound of her feathers ruffling as they shook out being louder than she'd anticipated in the quiet of the cafeteria. "No- I- I'm okay thank you. I don't want to put anyone out."
Biting her lower lip, she shook her head. "That's not- that's not it at all. My mom said my grandma was deaf but she could still hear a pin drop and knew when someone was sneaking in." She hoped that explained she wasn't curious about a blind chef. "I-"
