Compartmentalization had served Bryan Murphy well over the years. Separating his feelings from the task at hand, pushing on to complete the mission...it worked well; or had worked well until the man found himself stuck. When he was deployed in the field things ran like clockwork, but around Limbo, well it seemed as if he had nothing but time to fill and kill. Which wore him down more and more. Still after a moment of silence he gazed over at her, and offered a soft genuine smile.
"Learned to take the bad ones with the good a long time ago. So no need to worry about it." Her words and poking hadn't bothered him really. Oh Nicky wasn't wrong about his lack of social skills, when she spoke of how it looked like he was brooding all the time Murphy laughed at last. "Well I'd hate to be seen as that broody guy, just sitting alone in a corner." Honestly he was fine with being alone; but if being around a few others could help pass the time...then maybe it was something worthwhile.
"Tell you what. Put me down for a tango lesson or something, and we will see how things go from there."
