Kat wasn't particularly busy. She'd skipped out on dinner and only grabbed a snack to take with her. She didn't know what she wanted to be doing but she was bored out of her mind. Training was always a viable option but there was only so much she could do before that would make her bored too. Meandering down to the leisure room, she figured maybe there was a new movie there to entertain her or someone to keep her preoccupied at least. She came out of the cafeteria munching on an apple in one hand and a bag of popcorn in the other. When a girl randomly stopped in the middle of the doorway, Kat almost mowed her down but she finished biting off a chunk of apple and took a step back. "Sorry, 'scuse me," she said with half a mouthful.
It seemed like common courtesy for the girl to move but then Kat peeked over her shoulder a little to see just what the girl was doing and caught a glimpse of her drawing something. "Uhh.. pretty sure there are a few better places to do that than in a door way?" She realized that the girl didn't seem to give a shit that she was blocking the way, so she gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey? Can you just scootch over a little bit?" Before Kat could finish her sentence, she was being stabbed in the arm with a pencil. She screamed out when the pencil broke through the skin so forcefully and dropped her food, the apple exploding in mid-drop as Kat reeled in unexpected pain.
"What the fuck," Kat backed away from the girl and grabbed at her arm that was bleeding. "What the fuck is your problem?" She pulled her hand from the arm to see if it was still bleeding and just how ugly it looked, and then put her hand right back over the spot and started muttering to herself under her breath and crazy new recruits. She didn't pay attention to the girl when she actually bothered to move, too annoyed to care about her reaction. "Fucking.. shit balls... goddammit. I really liked this shirt too," she grumbled.
