Even in her half-awake state, she still managed to blush at his comment. She knew nothing would ever come of it, and especially because she could never find the guts to act on it, but she had a schoolgirl crush on her mentor. It was something she wasn't as good at hiding as she would like to be. "Like asking nicely?" she guessed nervously, her voice little more than a squeak.
She laughed a little too hard at the mention of destruction. It was almost an understatement. There was always plenty of carnage to go around at Limbo, but it always got worse when there was a new batch of inexperienced transfers involved. "New, young, untrained, and oh so destructive." Evie wasn't particularly old herself, but some of them were fresh out of the youth facilities, like Buck, and she had a few years on them. "It's chaos. I spend so much time repairing I barely have any time to do upgrades or new things, and I'm dying to add some security upgrades. We need them, badly."
Although, she stopped herself just short of saying why she felt they needed them so much.
