Laboratory Theft in New JerseyA laboratory in East Rutherford, New Jersey reported a theft overnight Monday. Officials claim that burglars somehow bypassed their complicated security systems and were able to gain access to a highly toxic specimen kept on their premises. Authorities have reason to believe that this may have been carried out by someone affiliated with the lab itself. Due to the nature of the specimen, the FBI has been called in to quickly locate the toxin. If you have any information, please report to http://tips.fbi.gov or (855) 835-5324. |

Friends of Humanity Holds Protest Rally
What was expected to be a small, peaceful gathering in downtown Manhattan turned into a massive, rowdy affair as an anti-mutant group known as "Friends of Humanity" took to the streets to loudly profess their protestations against what they called the "advancement of the mutant species." The group, led by Graydon Creed, has gained followers in recent months thanks to information available on social networking. It is a hate-fuelled group that many believe could turn violent. NYPD is suggesting individuals to use care when finding themselves in the Bowery, and those with physical evidence of mutations to stay away from the area entirely. |

Wakanda Earthquake Still Felt
Following a 7.2 magnitude earthquake earlier this week, the Wakanda people still suffer as bodies are pulled from the rubble and the death toll rises. Thousands are still missing, with little hope of survival as the days pass, and some have accepted the fact that the bodies of their loved ones may not ever be recovered. Foreign aid has been felt strongly in the area, however, as many familiar heroes offer their help in the efforts. The US government has no official connection with the heroes, freeing them from many political bounds, and the Wakandan people seem grateful for now for the help. As the Wakandan army moves in to crisis areas, the foreign citizens are being asked to make room for official relief. |
