Bella simply nodded in response, he was obviously troubled and it would do no good to rush him. He would come to tell her the extent of his worries when he was ready, given that he told her at all. It did spark her curiosity however, given Lucius' newly found admiration for her sister. She naturally assumed the worst as well but was more amused than anything. Rabastan was a sweet boy, after all.
"I have already proven myself," Bella said tritely. "As a woman I am expected nothing more than mild charm, beauty, and perhaps intelligence. I suffer all three to some extent." She laughed pointedly before continuing. "Although my father is very fond of me, it is Regulus' time to shine. He is heir now, after all." Her previous laugh dimmed to a forced smile- despite her adoration for Regulus, jealousy of his new position consumed her.
