She was clearly someone he wished to associate with that evening, and he moved towards her, two small, elegantly cut glasses in hand. "I thought a small sip of red-wine would be an appropriate toast to the new members?" He said to her softly, offering her one glass and waiting to be invited to join her. After all, to force one's company on a young lady was not gentlemanly. At least, that was what the books on etiquette had suggested. "May I join you, Narcissa?"
Hopefully she was in a mood to be friendly towards him. Rodolphus and Rabastan certainly weren't, and he wasn't sure about Regulus, considering the screaming he'd done on the pitch. He might as well write the Try-Outs off as a social disaster, but at least that disaster might soon be forgotten if the team could all work together. He sighed softly to himself and offered her a small smile, some of the aloofness melting away. "Thank goodness of the weekend. And classes have barely started!"
