Fabian had had pretty much the same idea about spying on the try-outs. It never hurt to know who your opponents were going to be, or how they played. Slytherin were the team to beat, and they played with dirty tricks as well as practise and team work. Fabian had found in the past that they needed to cover all their bases if they wanted to be on an equal footing and not have to resort to the same low-down cheating of Slytherin.
He rounded the corridor and groaned inwardly. Speaking of dirty tricks, he would run into Tiberius here. He looked away, hoping he could avoid a conversation if he had half the chance. He wasn't in the mood to swap threats about who would be beating who in the next game.
