With the train ticket stuck between her teeth and her hair falling in front of her face, Cora Heaton grunts as she pushes and pulls her trunk down the platform, looking for some solace away from the noisy second and third years who are clamoring about the three months they were away from their best buddies.
Having left her mother several days ago in her hometown, Cora is tired of talking to herself and searches for the familiar faces of her friends.
She looks up to see the Black family, all regal in their expensive attire and proud smirks. She spots Bellatrix off to the side of them, and grins her first real grin in several weeks. She and Bellatrix make a strange couple, but there is a certain level of respect between them.
Cora makes her way through the crowd, snapping at a thrid year who almost runs over her foot with his trunk, comes up behind Bellatrix and reaches out to tap her shoulder.
