Royal was one who could throw himself into his acting career without hesitation, but then again, what happened with Sephora had jarred him. He had prepared himself to see her win, for her to take her place in the Victor's Village and Royal was ready to take the young girl under his wing. She reminded him so much of his daughter that it rattled him and to sate his nerves yesterday evening, he drank. It didn't help that he had a charity gig coming up. He normally would've said it was for sponsorship but really he could care less. He was a man of his word and the sooner he got this out of the way the better. So, when he got to the hospital, he was promptly ushered up to see the patient at hand. It was a young girl who was supposedly suffering from a fatal copper infection from all the glitter in her system. "How woefully tragic," the Capitolite told Royal, saddened by the girl's plight. "At least she will die beautiful, but we were hoping you could help us with something. Now, Hera here is a big fan of your district's girl, whatever her name is." "Sephora," Royal commented. The least these Capitolites could do was acknowledge her by name and not have the gall to refer to her as just a tribute. Realistically though, he'd knew they'd forget about her given time. Especially now that she was gone. "Yeah, her. She was so pretty," the Capitolite rambled on. "Anyways given how marvelous of an actor you are, we were hoping you could help us recreate a scene. I mean, people are still clattering over your reenactment as Dory. It was a refreshing take on things." Royal had to bite his tongue when it came to that since he didn't consider playing Dory to be one of the highlights of his career. "But of course, what scene did you have in mind?" Royal could make himself play Sephora if he needed to. He didn't mind channeling the energy into her and if it meant that her name would be remembered a bit longer, then who was he to say no? "Well, she is quite fond of the fight where the four boy gets killed, so we figured why don't we recreate the scene? Unfortunately for us, we really can't capture the arena feel. But I'm sure how you play him will make up for it. You can do crazy, right?" the Capitolite asked. That four boy was odd to say the least. "We even have some teeth if need be. But just wait right here and I will get Hera, erm, I mean our tribute and then the fun can begin." She shuffled off after handing Royal a realistic looking toy mace. Well at least the fight would be short and then he could allow himself to forget about the 56th games. The odds weren't in his favor after all. |
