WHO: Gypsum Twinning, featuring Lilac Soot and Cordelia Cable
WHEN: Day 18
WHERE: Desert side
WHAT: Get their fight on
STATUS: Complete.
Coming upon an unsuspecting Lilac was like a gift. Striking Lilac in the back with her blade was magic, was perfect. She watched as D12 fell to the ground. The last hope they had. She laughed a little looking at her, where was her buddy. She couldn’t be far away. Lilac wasn’t going anywhere. Gypsum stepped over D12’s body and walked slowly, her axe in hand. “Cable,” she said in a bit of a sing song voice. “Come out come out.” She laughed to herself. In truth it did not take long to find her. After all there were not many places to hide in this vast desert, but it was becoming increasingly more difficult to navigate with the cracks and growing chasm. But find her she did. The gift was not wrapped like it had been with Lilac, no this one she had to fight for. Swing the axe she hit Cable, but it was not enough. She made contact with her arm. There was fight in her yet. Gypsum felt as Cable pushed her back. Gypsum stumbled on her weakened ankle falling back. She brought Cable down with her. The struggle was quick for everyone else, but to Gypsum it felt like minutes were passing away in comparison to each second. She felt Cable’s axe make contact with her thigh in the scuffle on the ground. She screamed out in pain. She hadn’t expected that. “You’ll regret that bitch.” She said loudly, pulling her hand back and punching her head with such force. She felt her fist take force but nearly breaking her hand, perhaps she had. Gypsum though would not get away as she felt Cable stab something into her side. The girl wanted to take her with her, but she wasn’t going to let that happen. Rolling away from her she reached for her axe. Though it hurt more than anything she had experienced as she swung her axe hitting into Cable’s neck. With that she was gone. Holding her side she staggered to her feet. Pulling her axe up she walked, laboured with the axe wound to her leg and her stomach wound. She moved back slowly to where she had left Lilac, as she hadn’t heard the cannon. She saw her dying on the ground where she had left her. She tilted her head to the side. The second canon to sound today would be hers as well. Two in a row. She didn’t take long before she walked up to Lilac swing down hard making contact with her head. One quick blow and she was done. Gypsum bent down to pick up the knives. She groaned with pain in the process. She looked up at the sky as the cannon sounded. Gypsum smiled. She’d killed finally. She moved back to her feet with new weapons and her axe in hand. She picked up her bag she had dropped before running out after Cable and headed to find a place to patch herself up. Do you think her mentors would send her food now? |
