With warrants obtained and as much information on Malfoy Manor as they could gather, Tonks and the other Aurors raided the manor. Arthur Weasley, who she had spoken to because he had managed a few raids on the place a few years ago, had told her about the secret entrance he'd found to a cellar, and Tonks made straight for it. She could only hope that if Gabrielle was down there, that she wouldn't be guarded, and that they could get her out of this place without a fight.

Bill was aware that Fleur wanted to come along on the rescue mission to save Gabrielle, but in her condition, it was safer for her to stay home. He would have liked her to go somewhere, to be with someone just incase anything should go wrong, but knew better than to ask her to go to the Burrow. Instead, he'd kissed her good-bye and promised that he would do anything in his power to make sure Gabrielle was returned. Bill didn't bother to look back, knowing he would cave and bring Fleur with him. Even as a lookout, she would be a danger to their mission, to his own well being anyway. He would end up trying to protect her at the same time he was there to save her sister.

Once he joined up with the rest of the rescue squad, time flew by. If he were to look back on the events that lead them into Malfoy Manor, he would not be able to recall how he'd gotten there. He stayed close to Tonks, her bright hair a beacon to keep him in line should they be separated later on.

Bellatrix did love the sound of screaming, but they had drowned out the sound of the door being broken in upstairs, so whenshe stepped out of the cell that held the heap that used to be Gabrielle Delacour, she was surprised to see people she didn't recognise there. Her wand was out in an instant, flinging a couple of hexes at the intruders before running deeper into the dungeons, to lead them away from her prize.

	Tonks shield th hexes, and took off after her Aunt, gesturing towards the room she'd come from to Bill. "Check that one," she yelled, then tried to incapicitate Bellatrix with a full body bind, hissing in disappointment when it hit the wall near the fleeing woman's head. Bill had been about to check in a nearby cell when Bellatrix came out of one a little further down the aisle. Before he knew it, there were hexes being flung, some narrowly missing as they struck at the stone wall beside his head. Cursing, he ducked and shot a few down the darkened hallway after the fleeing woman.

When Tonks pointed him in the direction of the cell Bellatrix had vacated, Bill nodded and ducked inside. Dimly lit and filthy, Bill lit the end of his wand, bringing light to the gloom and found himself staring at the unmoving body on the floor. Bill dropped to his knees and smoothed the matted mess of blond hair from the little girl's face. Bill felt for a pulse in Gabrielle's neck and was unable to find one. Yet didn't want to fear for the worst as her body was still warm. He hoped she was just that bad off that the pulse and breathing were too weak and shallow for him to feel. Carefully, as if he were picking up a fragile piece of crystal, Bill wrapped his arms around the body and lifted. It was all too easy to lift the girl that felt like nothing but bone.

Tonks chased her aunt deeper into the dungeons, hoping to capture her and send her straight back to Azkaban, but there must have been some way out, or she'd Apparated, because she came to dead end. Frowning she went back to where she'd left Bill, and found him cradling the girl they were there to rescue.

"It it her? Is she okay?" she asked from the doorway, keeping her eyes peeled for anyone else, just in case she'd been mistaken about a second exit.

	Bill had heard the echoing of footfalls in the hallways and was ready to hex whoever it might be, if it happened to be a DeathEater. He sighed in relief when he noticed it was Tonks instead. "Yeah, its her. She's weak... She needs to get to St. Mungos, now." He moved towards the doorway and Tonks, ready to get out of the Malfoys' home. "Lead the way." (Reply to this) (Parent)
